About Augustus
I am a self-taught writer, currently working to publish my first anthology of short stories. I take great joy in producing and analysing creative writing, and I have seen far too many students come to the false conclusion that it's "too hard" for them when there is every reason for them to succeed. As a tutor, I aspire to bring out that potential, wrap it in newfound confidence, and guide my students toward not only exam success, but a lifelong love of literature and the English language.

I teach by walking my students through the content and guiding them in the right direction to reach the right answers on their own, building confidence and proving to them that they can be the straight-A student they want to be. My lessons aim to be around 1-2 hours, so as not to overload the student with too much information at once. My tuition is perfect for year 10-11 GCSE students, and I can help with both English language and English literature courses.
