About Nafeesah

Hi, My name is Nafeesah and I have worked with SEN children for over 6+ years as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

I specialise in social emotional mental health however I have worked alongside children who have different needs. To name some but not limited to
Autism, ADHD, ASD, Learning disability and SEMH I have always enjoyed working with children and making learning fun.

My younger self needed extra support in school and without it I wouldn’t have been able to do what I enjoyed most which was learning.

It’s my passion to give back and as I have personally experienced how tough it can be it helps me to understand children better.

About the lesson

I plan my lessons around the child's needs.
I use strategies to help them learn in an enjoyable way and make the environment a happy and safe for them. I break it down in small chunks which helps them not to become overwhelmed and distracted.
I understand every child develops differently and are not the same.

I had the pleasure of working alongside Nafeesah as my classes HLTA in a SEN school, and I can confidently say that she was an amazing tutor and a wonderful colleague.

Nafeesah demonstrated exceptional patience, compassion and dedication in her work with pupils with special educational needs. She had a natural ability to build positive relationships with pupils, making them feel valued, understood and supported. Her calm and caring approach, combined with her ability to adapt her teaching to meet individual needs, made a real difference to the children she worked with.

I would highly recommend Nafeesah. She is a dedicated, compassionate and inspiring tutor who genuinely cares about the pupils she works with and is committed to helping them achieve their full potential.
