About Annabelle
Hi there! My name is Annabelle, and I’m a Political Science major with a Geography minor at the University of Colorado Boulder. I tutor Middle School, High School, and entry-level Political Science students in history, social studies, government, and geography. I’ve always enjoyed these subjects and have a strong background in them. I earned a 5 on the AP Human Geography exam, along with 4s on both AP U.S. Government and AP U.S. History. I know how challenging these classes can feel, and my goal is to make the material clearer and more manageable for students. I can help with homework, test prep, essays, and reading comprehension. I take a patient, encouraging approach and try to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their work!

Each lesson is designed to feel calm, supportive, and encouraging. I begin by checking in with the student, how they’re feeling about their class, what’s been challenging, and what they want a little extra help with. From there, we work through the material at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable. I take time to explain ideas in a clear, down-to-earth way, whether we’re reviewing homework, preparing for a test, or working on an essay. If something feels confusing or overwhelming, we slow down and approach it together, step by step. No pressure, no judgment. My goal is for students to feel understood and supported during every session. I want them to leave feeling more confident, more prepared, and more capable than when they started. I’m always patient, always open to questions, and always focused on helping them grow in a way that feels good to them.
