I was under Renu Madam’s tutelage as a 10-11 year old more than 4 decades ago. That I still think she is head and shoulders above any teacher I have ever learnt from, speaks for itself! It is very easy to be distracted in school as a 10-year old but Renu Madam always (a) made classes interesting- focusing on effective, qualitative & lasting learning instead of just dumping notes on us or reading out lessons to us or making us learn by rote (b) gave us values focused life lessons, going beyond the call of duty- largely responsible for shaping our character during our formative years (c) always had a good ear and a mature head on her shoulders while resolving our typical schoolkid problems and thereby sowing the seeds of wisdom and maturity in our minds too, which have certainly stood me in good stead through my life. A prime example of perfection and trustworthiness!

I have been blessed by Almighty, for having Mrs. Renu as my teacher in my primary school years. Her dedication, knowledge, patience and caring attitude made the school a great place to be for me. She taught me maths as a subject, and she taught me values for life.

She is a great teacher, and an amazingly wonderful human being, down to earth.

It has been nearly 40 years since she taught me, and I am so glad that she is still in touch with me. I will leave no opportunity to learn from her even now.
