About Hope
Hi there,
I am currently a university student studying English Literature. I took my Level 1 BSL and Deaf Awareness award in 2013 and have since then been learning sign in my own time.
These lessons are based on the very basics of sign (level 1) for absolute beginners.

Classes will move at the student's pace. We will not move on from a subject until the student is entirely comfortable and confident with the previous lesson. Lessons can be tailored to the kinds of things the student would like to learn (within reason).
No experience or prior knowledge of sign is necessary as these lessons are aimed at absolute beginners.
Deaf awareness is also an important part of learning sign, and so this will be incorporated into these lessons.
