About Solomon
Hi, I'm Silkie, a dubstep producer and DJ from London. I've been making beats for over 20 years, and I've released three albums and several EPs on Deep Medi Musik, one of the leading labels in the scene. I'm offering personalised virtual lessons in beatmaking, production, sound design, and music theory from my home studio.
I started DJing when I was 15, and I was influenced by jungle, garage, grime, and hip hop. I learned how to make music using FL Studio, and I developed my own style of soulful, synth-heavy dubstep. I've collaborated with artists like Quest, Swindle, Mala, and Skream, and I've performed all over the world.
I love to share what I know and what I've learned with others who want to improve their skills and abilities. It makes me happy to see my students achieve their goals and dreams. Teaching also helps me grow and learn as a person, and it lets me meet new people who have similar hobbies and passions.
