About Whitney
"Music has always been a big part of my life, and teaching singing has been just as rewarding as performing. With 6 years of teaching experience and an Advanced Diploma in Singing, I enjoy helping students discover their own voice in a supportive environment. My lessons combine structure with creativity so learning stays enjoyable and productive.
I teach a mix of vocal styles while building strong foundations in technique, music theory, ear development, and improvisation. Every student learns differently, so I adjust each lesson to match their goals, pace, and confidence level. Whether you are singing for the first time or preparing for auditions, I create a plan that fits your needs.
One student came to me feeling nervous about singing in front of others, and after regular practice, they confidently performed at a local event. Moments like these remind me that steady guidance can make a real difference. My goal is to help every student grow with confidence, improve their skills, and enjoy every step of the learning journey."

"I focus on helping students build confidence, improve pitch accuracy, and express themselves naturally through singing. My lessons are designed for both The Fiddler and The Music Major, with techniques that match their individual learning styles and musical goals. Every session includes clear exercises that make progress feel achievable.
For The Fiddler, I use practical vocal exercises, breathing techniques, and listening activities that strengthen musical instinct and performance skills. For The Music Major, I include deeper work on vocal technique, interpretation, theory, and healthy singing habits to support long-term growth. I also encourage daily vocal health routines because small habits often lead to lasting improvement.
I regularly use ear training apps, metronomes, and recording devices so students can hear their progress and stay consistent between lessons. One student noticed steady improvement simply by recording a short practice session every week and comparing it over time. My aim is to create a positive learning space where every student feels motivated, prepared, and confident to perform at their best."
