About Kian
I hold a B.A. in Vocal Arts and Performance Studies and have 11 years of experience guiding singers at various stages of their vocal journey. My own path in singing taught me how vulnerable and powerful the voice can be, which shapes the empathy and care I bring into teaching. I understand that vocal growth is deeply personal and requires patience, trust, and encouragement. My teaching philosophy centers on sustainability and emotional safety. I take time to understand each student’s vocal habits, physical comfort, musical interests, and confidence level. Rather than rushing progress, I focus on building a strong foundation that allows singers to grow steadily and without strain. I believe lasting improvement comes from awareness and self-trust. Outside teaching, I continue studying vocal pedagogy, performance psychology, and diverse musical traditions. Teaching singing is meaningful to me because I witness students transform fear into confidence and hesitation into expression. Helping someone discover freedom in their voice is one of the most rewarding experiences I know.

My singing lessons are designed to help learners build a healthy, reliable voice while developing deep emotional connection to music. I focus on breath coordination, posture awareness, resonance balance, vocal placement, and clear articulation, guiding students to understand how their voice functions naturally. Lessons are conducted in a calm and supportive environment where students feel safe exploring sound without pressure or judgment. I believe confidence grows when singers trust their bodies and develop awareness rather than force.
Beginners begin with breathing exercises, pitch stability, gentle range exploration, and simple song interpretation. Intermediate singers work on register blending, tonal consistency, phrasing control, and expressive dynamics. Advanced students focus on vocal stamina, stylistic interpretation, emotional storytelling, and performance preparation. Each lesson includes warm-ups, focused exercises, song application, and reflective discussion to reinforce both technique and confidence.
Singing lessons also nurture emotional well-being and self-belief. Many students experience reduced tension, improved confidence, and a stronger sense of self-expression. My goal is to help singers feel grounded, expressive, and proud of their voice in both private and performance settings.
