About Friedmann Music Studios
I began singing operatically when I was 14 years old and quickly fell in love with it. At 18 I started training at the Jacobs School of Music. I've also performed at the Music Academy of the West summer festival in Santa Barbara. I’ve been teaching now for 2 years and have helped many students of varying levels feel comfortable in their own voice and have a better understanding of our instrument's functions. The voice is simply a vessel towards self-expression and I teach my students to use their natural sound to share who they are as a person. It’s not just about developing the voice but also developing ourselves as people.

The voice should come out freely and expressively. The path to achieving this is something that is widely misunderstood with many singing students: BREATH. Breath is the key to singing. How we take it, how we use it, and how we sustain it. Mastering the breath is how we can unlock the ability to sing freely and without the unnecessary stress, anxiety, and fear.

I have a lot of fun during lessons with Mr. F! I met him through instagram and setting up lessons was so easy. He made me feel very safe and supported during our lessons and helped me to feel unafraid to make mistakes and try again. I noticed my singing and comfortability in my own voice really excel from working with him. He really helped with breath support and vocal protection. I would definitely recommend to people my age (teens), cause he makes you feel very heard and understood.
