About Austin
"I have been teaching singing for 9 years and hold a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice. I enjoy helping students build healthy vocal technique while discovering music they truly enjoy. Every lesson is designed around your goals, whether you sing for fun, auditions, or live performances.
My teaching combines vocal technique with music theory, harmony, improvisation, and careful listening skills. These areas work together to help students become stronger and more confident musicians. I believe understanding music makes singing feel more natural and expressive.
I enjoy working across different genres because each style teaches something valuable about the voice. One student improved stage confidence after exploring jazz phrasing, while another found better vocal control through pop ballads. Seeing those personal breakthroughs is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.
I create a supportive learning space where questions are always welcome and progress happens at a comfortable pace. My goal is to help every student develop solid technique while performing with confidence, creativity, and genuine expression."

"Every singer has a unique voice, and my goal is to help you discover it with confidence. I adapt each lesson to your age, goals, and musical interests. We build strong vocal tone first so your voice feels natural instead of forced.
Adult beginners learn step by step through simple exercises that make singing feel less intimidating. I often compare vocal practice to learning to ride a bicycle because balance comes before speed. We use lyric analysis sheets to understand the meaning behind every song before adding emotion.
Advanced teens work on developing their own style instead of copying other singers. They explore different genres to understand how pop, jazz, rock, or musical theatre can shape their musical identity. Improvisation activities encourage creativity and help them become more confident performers.
Vocal journals help track progress, note challenges, and celebrate small wins after each lesson. Melody trainers improve pitch accuracy, while DAWs allow students to record themselves and hear real improvements over time. We also focus on storytelling so every performance connects with listeners in a genuine way.
By combining technique with creativity, each student grows into a more expressive and confident singer. My aim is for every lesson to leave you feeling motivated, prepared, and excited to keep singing."
