About Camille
I am a piano tutor with 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Piano. I have taught over 150 students from young beginners to adult learners across all piano styles and levels. My lessons cover classical technique, jazz, pop, contemporary piano, theory, and examination preparation for all major boards. I am passionate about making piano lessons genuinely enjoyable and personally meaningful for every student I work with. My approach is patient, engaging, and always adapted to each student's pace and musical interests. I use backing tracks, ear training tools, and composition apps to keep sessions stimulating and varied. I have helped students pass graded examinations with strong results and develop into confident musical performers. Let me help you fall in love with the piano and develop skills that last a lifetime.

My piano lessons develop technique, creativity, and musical understanding in a fully integrated and genuinely enjoyable way throughout every session. Every session starts with scales and technique exercises tailored to the student's level and goals to build a healthy and reliable technical foundation consistently from the start. Theory is taught alongside practical playing from the very beginning so musical understanding develops naturally and meaningfully as skills improve. Jazz students explore chord voicings, improvisation approaches, and the rhythmic feel that defines jazz piano performance at every level. Classical students work through carefully graded repertoire alongside supporting technique studies appropriate to their examination board and level. Pop and contemporary students develop chord-based playing and the stylistic feel that makes modern piano sound genuinely musical and expressive. I use backing tracks consistently to develop timing, groove, and the ability to play with genuine musical sensitivity. Composition is offered to students who want to write their own music starting from simple pieces and progressing to more personal original works. Detailed written practice notes are provided after every lesson so home practice is always focused and genuinely productive. My goal is for every student to become a genuinely confident and joyful pianist who loves making music.
