About Davy
As a Piano tutor with over 6 years of teaching experience, I enjoy helping students unlock their musical potential through personalized and structured lessons. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals, adapting every lesson to suit their abilities and aspirations.
My teaching philosophy combines patience, communication, and practical learning. I encourage students to build confidence through consistent practice while enjoying the process of learning music.
My lessons cover piano fundamentals, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, performance preparation, finger strengthening exercises, and musical interpretation. I focus on helping students become confident performers.
In addition to Piano, I teach keyboard skills and music reading. These complementary subjects strengthen musical knowledge and improve overall musicianship.
I strive to create a welcoming and supportive classroom where students feel motivated to learn, improve, and express themselves through music.

My teaching methodology is based on communication, creativity, flexibility, and steady progress. I believe that every student can learn piano with the right guidance, regular practice, and positive encouragement. Since every learner is different, I customize each lesson according to the student's age, experience, interests, and learning goals.
I begin by teaching the fundamentals, including correct posture, hand position, finger exercises, note reading, rhythm, and basic music theory. These basics help students develop confidence and avoid incorrect playing habits. As students improve, I introduce scales, chords, arpeggios, pedal techniques, dynamics, sight reading, and expressive playing.
My lessons are interactive and enjoyable. I encourage students to participate actively, ask questions, and understand the purpose behind every exercise instead of simply memorizing songs. Students learn music step by step so they gain both technical skills and musical understanding.
Creativity is an important part of my teaching. Students explore different musical styles such as classical, pop, devotional, movie themes, and contemporary music. I also encourage simple improvisation and accompaniment whenever appropriate to develop musical confidence.
Besides piano, I teach music theory, keyboard skills, rhythm training, ear training, sight reading, and performance preparation. These subjects support piano learning and help students become complete musicians.
I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students enjoy every lesson, build confidence, improve discipline, and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.
