About Finn
I am a flute tutor with 6 years of teaching experience, having taught over 150 students across all levels. My lessons focus on combining technical mastery with creative expression. I guide students in developing breath control, finger dexterity, tone, and rhythm, while also encouraging improvisation and musical interpretation.
Every lesson is customised to the student’s learning style and goals, ensuring steady progress and a rewarding learning experience. I also provide instruction in sight-reading, music theory, and ensemble practice, giving students a well-rounded musical foundation. My mission is to inspire confident, expressive, and passionate flutists.

Flexibility allows me to modify exercises, repertoire, and practice routines to match each student’s progress and goals. Collaboration is integral: students participate in duets, ensemble exercises, and group activities to develop musical communication, confidence, and expressive skills. Positivity forms the foundation of every lesson, providing a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to take risks, experiment, and celebrate achievements.
Alongside flute instruction, I provide lessons in music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, and ear training. This holistic approach develops technical skill, expressive ability, and musical understanding, helping students become confident, versatile, and passionate musicians
