About Susan

I have worked in social media for over ten years across the UAE and the wider Middle East. I currently manage the social channels for Expo City Dubai, Abu Dhabi Ports and AD Ports Group, and I have previously worked with TGI Fridays Middle East across seven markets, Arabian Radio Network and a range of hospitality and real estate brands. I hold an MSc in Digital Marketing from the University of Salford and a BBA in Marketing, and I was named one of Campaign Middle East’s Digital Faces to Watch 2022. I have also designed and delivered masterclasses on copywriting, LinkedIn and content calendars.

About the lesson

I teach social media the way I work in it: practical, hands-on and built around real brands. Every lesson uses live examples from my agency work, so you learn what actually works on Instagram, LinkedIn and other channels, not just theory. You will write, plan and review real content during the session and leave with something you can use straight away.

Techniques and methodology

Short explanations followed by practical exercises, such as writing captions, building a content calendar or rewriting a LinkedIn profile
Live feedback on your own content, with before and after examples
Templates and frameworks you can reuse, including calendar formats, caption structures and reporting layouts
Real campaign breakdowns from government, hospitality, F&B and broadcast brands
Guidance on using AI tools to plan and draft content faster, without losing your brand voice
A clear goal set at the start of each lesson, and a recap with next steps at the end

Lesson length

One to one lessons: 1 hour
Workshops and group sessions: 2 to 2.5 hours, with a short break and exercises between sections
