My teaching method goes as follows: Starting with the basics - alphabet, numbers, pronunciation.
Then, I introduce a topic per time, give examples in Greek, and discuss with the student. I continue by giving the student some exercises to complete. When completed, we go through it together and discuss the good points as well as the mistakes.
I explain and give time to the student to understand the mistake (if any) and correct it, then I sum up and class is over!
Homework provided can be done in less than 30 minutes - it's basically just to keep the student engaged.
