About Eve
I am an ambitious university student who aims to build confidence in students by working alongside them to achieve their goals.
I believe that every student has the ability to succeed, and I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment for students to make them feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes in order to develop their skills.
As a tutor I aim to take a patient and personalised approach, adapting my teaching style to suit each student’s individual needs and learning style and concerns.
I believe it is important to focus on both helping students understand the subject and succeed, but also on building their confidence and independence.
I am friendly, approachable and reliable, and I enjoy working alongside students to break down challenging topics into manageable steps.
As a university student who had recently completed A-levels I understand the pressures students can face academically, and I want my sessions to be a positive space where students feel motivated and supported.

I believe in a client-centred approach focusing on building the strengths of the individual student and building confidence in areas of development. I believe that building a key understanding of content is essential, and continuing to build on exam techniques in order to improve performance in academic assessments.
I have worked alongside professionals to gain experience of how to break down content to deliver to students as well as helping fellow students to engage in meaningful discussions to improve understanding of key topics. My lessons are targeted at GCSE and A-level students as I have recently completed my A-levels and understand the process and challenges that come with exams.
