About Kali
I have a background in sociology with a minor in English. I began teaching in 2023, securing a position in a company that allowed me to create my own personalized plans to help meet each child's nuanced needs. I am a very dedicated individual who will not allow students to think of "failure", only as a stepping stone until success is reached. I am the individual to say "there are no stupid questions," as this is a firm belief of mine. From those who have worked with me or are parents of those I work with find my methods allow for an easy connection, ultimately providing a safe environment to work in. I have also been praised for my creativity, as I can tend to create unique solutions to any challenge that may arise.

My learning plans vary based on the needs of the student. I have experience with all types of learning, from visual and auditory to Kinesthetic. Typically, I start with observing past lessons, such as homework, and build off there, finding the areas of improvement. From a clean slate, I start at the basics and work our way up, highlighting their strengths and their challenges. I work extremely well in providing comfort and ambition to frustrated individuals and will not stop until the goal has been reached. I am a very dedicated tutor and will only feel as if the job has been done if my client says so. I am willing to teach anywhere from JK to Gr12 and can also assist adults in practicing their English fluency.
