About Ghadeer
I have more than 20 years of experience in professional software development, mainly in the Java ecosystem and distributed financial systems. I did lead software development teams, which entailed mentoring less senior software developers and attending to their career growth needs.
In addition, in my spare time, I practice computer programming as a hobby, in which case I steer towards subjects I am more interested in, such as graphics programming. Me and programming go way back to the late 80s, in the days of 8-bit CPUs and computer systems with 64 KBs of memory.
Regarding my education, I have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, and a master's degree in software engineering.

I mentored many junior software engineers who went on to lead successful careers. But despite my long experience in professional software development (mostly in the Java ecosystem and in the financial sector), my primary passion lies in the intersection between programming, math, and creative/fun fields, such as computer graphics programming. I look forward to helping those with similar interests overcome obstacles that are hindering their progress.
The main subjects I am targeting are: computer programming (mainly in TypeScript, Java, Rust or Python), functional programming, the basics of low-level 3D/2D graphics programming using WebGPU and shading languages, and what that entails in terms of foundation in linear algebra, calculus, and probability theory.
I expect my students to be in high school, college, undergraduate university programs, or other adults or amateurs who are curious about computer (graphics?) programming.
The first free lesson will mostly be about gauging your learning needs, expectations, and possibilities so that I could design an approach that addresses your needs.
