I am ready and excited to commit to tutoring on a regular schedule. I have tutoring experience in the past both virtually and in person. These experiences have been through organizations, as well as self-organized tutoring in my community. I have successfully assisted students in improving their understanding of confusing content which has been reflected in their grades.

I find tutoring most successful when I cater my lessons to the age and level of my student. For instance, with my elementary school clients studying math, I find having ways to visualize the content, whether that be using blocks or shapes most helpful. I also have ways to do this online for virtual students. Visualization and memory techniques have been very helpful to my students in the past to understand confusing content and apply their knowledge to a multitude of problems. I also provide a range of practice problems from word problems, to just numbers, to matching which vary in difficulty. I have tutored both math and science subjects for students ranging from second grade to twelfth grade in the past. I am capable of tutoring elementary to high school math, including statistics, as well as chemistry and biology. I know studying difficult content can be challenging and stressful but it is my goal to provide the most encouraging learning environment possible!
