Most people have different goals with language learning but, while it seems daunting at first, languages can quite quickly open up in front of the student. My lessons mainly entail basic grammar groundwork while I can provide Quizlets with vocab on them for students to go through in between lessons. Grammar can be hard to work out on your own, as well as oral skills, so these take priority during the classes. At the same time, I have a long list of Spanish films, music and, later, literature and poetry which I can provide to the student in order to incentivise language learning.
I am a Spanish and Portuguese translator from Edinburgh, Scotland. Prior to this, I taught Spanish to both primary school children in Whitechapel and Spanish and English to colleagues at the University of Granada in Spain, be they Erasmus students, friends or students already there.
