About Violet
I have 7 years of experience teaching Spanish and hold a Bachelor’s in Spanish Studies and a Master’s in Applied Linguistics. My academic background provided detailed study of grammar systems, phonetics, and language development processes. I have supported students preparing for academic goals, professional communication, and personal language improvement.
I believe that successful language learning requires structure, patience, and continuous encouragement. I carefully evaluate each student’s ability level and goals before designing a clear lesson plan. Supportive feedback and steady practice help learners build confidence step by step. I focus on long-term fluency rather than short-term memorisation.
Outside teaching, I continue reading Spanish literature and studying new research in language education to refine my teaching methods. My Spanish lessons are carefully planned to build accurate grammar knowledge while developing natural speaking confidence. I begin by focusing on pronunciation clarity, vowel sounds, and correct stress patterns to improve overall communication quality. Grammar topics such as verb tenses, sentence structure, agreement rules, and question formation are explained clearly in simple English. After each explanation, students complete structured exercises that reinforce learning and reduce common mistakes. Establishing strong grammar foundations makes future progress smoother and more stable.
As learners improve, we expand vocabulary through practical themes like travel, education, workplace discussions, and daily life situations. Structured conversation practice allows students to organise ideas clearly before speaking. Listening exercises expose learners to natural speech speed and different accents to improve comprehension skills. Writing tasks strengthen organisation, grammar accuracy, and clarity of thought.
Regular revision sessions ensure steady retention and measurable progress. My goal is to help students communicate confidently in Spanish-speaking environments. Through consistent practice and supportive correction, learners develop fluency, cultural awareness, and the confidence to use Spanish effectively in real-life situations.
