About Lea
Teaching language is often a tedious process because people overlook the foundational mechanics of grammar. I find that focusing on the architecture of communication allows for faster progress than rote memorization.
My degree from the New England Conservatory trained me to analyze complex systems, a skill I apply to verb conjugation and syntax. I have spent 7 years refining how to teach listening practice, idiomatic expressions, and cultural context. Many students come to me for DELE exam preparation or to bridge the gap between Latin American and Castilian variants. I enjoy watching a student finally master a difficult accent or intonation pattern after weeks of persistent drill work.
