Since I am teaching a foreign language, I prefer using communicative approach where my focus is not only on the grammar, but on the better understanding of the language; the difference between colloquial and official use of the language along with imparting/sharing the knowledge of the culture, history, food etc related to the regions Spanish is spoken in as all of these factors are interlinked with learning any language.
