About Nina
I have 9 years of experience teaching Spanish and hold a BA in Hispanic Studies along with an MA in Spanish Linguistics. My teaching journey has spanned learners of all ages and proficiency levels, from beginners building their first vocabulary to advanced students preparing for professional or academic immersion. My philosophy emphasizes interactive, culturally enriched lessons that foster both language proficiency and a deeper understanding of Spanish-speaking traditions and society.
My approach combines structured instruction with creative exploration. I incorporate conversation, media analysis, literature discussion, and real-world scenario practice to ensure learners gain practical fluency. Students are encouraged to actively participate, ask questions, and reflect on language usage, building confidence while deepening comprehension.
