About Susana
I am from Venezuela, currently living in Madrid. I hold a Certificate in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language and I have broad experience teaching a range of people across all ages and walks of life, adapting my teaching method to suit their learning style and interests.
As my teaching goal is communication my favorite methods are the communicative and the conversational approach.

I use many resources such as: textbooks, dialogues, short films, short stories, podcasts, audios, and songs to do varied activities such as: conversations, dictation, role playing, reading etc. My goal is for my students to develop all skills such as writing and reading, but especially speaking and listening comprehension. With beginners or lower levels I sometimes support my classes with materials explained in English, and with intermediate and advanced levels, I use materials only in Spanish, especially those that might interest them more, like books that they want to analyze, movies, etc.
Utilizo muchos recursos, tales como: libros de texto, diálogos, cortometrajes, cuentos, podcasts, audios y canciones. Hacemos distintas actividades como: dictados, juegos de roles, lecturas, etc. Mi objetivo es que mis alumnos desarrollen las habilidades básicas (conversación, comprensión, escritura y lectura). Con los principiantes o niveles inferiores, uso también materiales explicados en inglés, y con niveles intermedios y avanzados, uso materiales solo en español, especialmente aquellos que puedan interesarles más, como libros que quieran analizar, películas, etc.
