I have been taking lessons with Leysi for the last year. I went from no knowledge in Spanish to being able to listen and understand Podcasts, read short stories, and participate in conversations. While we focus on the building blocks of language, we are also at the point where we can have a full conversations almost exclusively in Spanish and I feel prepared to use my new skills with other Spanish speakers. Leysi organized a trip to Colombia for her students in 2025 to join her sister there to visit their beloved country. It was one of the best trips I have ever had in my pursuit of learning Spanish. We talked Spanish 24/7, we met incredible people including her family, we visited out of the way parts of the country, we interacted with the locals, we laughed, we sang, we danced; it was extremely well organized. It was a nonstop Spanish adventure that I will never forget.
