My teaching method is to make Spanish learning fun, I guide my student through each exam module or topic of their specification, or learning in class. This can be at the speed completely determined by them at which they are comfortable, learning through additions to vocabulary, understanding of exam requirements, grammar practice and more. I want my teaching to be flexible and catered to an individual's need- we can work through a preferred textbook by the student, homework or class misunderstandings can be reviewed at any point and each lesson is specifically designed for the student whilst following the specification or class requirements.
Whilst I am not a native speaker, I have been learning Spanish for the last 5 years and am therefore familiar with the language examination style, expected level of vocabulary and topics. My first experience of tutoring was with my boyfriend's sister who went on to improve her grade in year 10 class from a C to an A. Moving forward I would love to help others in the same way. Similarly, in year 11 I was a Spanish learning leader and therefore very much enjoyed the experience of helping those in the younger years, helping them to achieve their full potential. I have been particularly motivated to continue tutoring after being told how helpful I was to the younger year students.
Summary
I am a friendly, hard-working A Level student, currently studying Spanish, Economics and English Literature at Chesham Grammar School. I am patient and understanding and would love to offer tutoring services to those in Key Stage 1-4.

Work History
Sales Advisor, Clinique
Manager- Kirsty Wright
April 2018- present
After working in the cosmetic department, I was offered a more challenging role as a Clinique Consultant. This involves achieving targets, gaining in depth product knowledge and developing strong client relations by providing a friendly and personal experience for each and every customer. Most significantly, this role has lead me to improve and create strong relations with customers by being an outgoing and amicable consultant.
Sales Advisor, Debenhams
Manager-Emma Beasley
October 2017- April 2018
I originally worked as a sales advisor in Debenhams, in the cosmetics department. Starting with no previous fragrance knowledge, I had learnt and adapted quickly to the fast paced role and the high expectations that come with it. Being kept on as a christmas temp, I have been taught skills such as stock count and price alinement. Similarly, I provide support and work in a team to give customers a great retail experience whilst also regularly helping other colleagues on their counters. I handle till money by processing sales transactions and also maintain the tidiness of the shop floor.
Volunteer, Children's Air Ambulance
Alan Auld
December 2016- April 2017
As a weekend volunteer of the Children's Air Ambulance I worked on the shop floor; I recommended and helped locate products based on customer requests, managed a variety of customer services and organised shop merchandise racks by size, style and colour to encourage a visually appealing environment. Whilst this was voluntary work and contributed to achieving my silver DofE award, it provided an opportunity to gain experience with customers and help drive sales for a good cause.
Hair Salon Assistant, LUSH Hair
Manager-Kat Tobin
June 2014-September 2014
Whilst I began the summer job assisting the senior stylists by greeting customers and ensuring the best overall experience, I was given other roles such as handling till money, shampooing, communicating with customers in shop and on the phone and maintaining cleanliness and presentation of stock room and the salon. As my first job, this taught me to give superior customer experience by addressing customer concerns, demonstrating courtesy, understanding and resolving problems on the spot.
