The first step will be to get to know each other, establish empathy and a friendly learning enviroment. The main goal will be to have fun! - I believe, and studies have shown, that this is the best way to learn.
Sessions will have a pre-determined but flexible structure, in which the student can anticipate tasks. Self appraisal will be a key aspect to enhance an autonomous and self-regulated learning process.

Perfect! Pilar was a kind teacher who was extremely encouraging. Her gentle manner and passion for her language made learning fun and relatively fast. I especially loved the conversation practise that she encouraged, as well as the variety of other learning methods e.g. worksheets, reading (Pilar found an article in Spanish on a subject I was very interested in) and writing. I can wholeheartedly recommend her as a tutor to anyone wishing to learn Spanish.
