About Carlos
I started teaching Spanish at the beginning of the pandemic and so far has been a great experience!
I am a native speaker, graduated as a Systems Engineer at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
I started my professional career in my country and also enjoyed teaching a couple computer science subjects at night after my day work.
I then moved to Canada in the late 90s and have been creating complex software solutions since then. I have also provided training to consultants and customers.
I now teach Spanish as a side fun activity.

At our first meeting I focus on understanding the student needs, motivation, and expectations, to start building the lesson plan.
I then assess the skill level (if any) the new student has, and then move on to design the lesson plan accordingly.
Experience shows me, bringing into my lessons topics relevant to the interests of the student, keeps the lessons very interesting. So I am always preparing material for the next lesson.
Any level from zero to advanced students are welcome.
I can organize the lessons online or at your place/public place or "hybrid" :-)
