I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Madelyne, who worked as a school aide at PS 102 Jacques Cartier for two years. During her time with us, Madelyne demonstrated a high level of dedication, responsibility, and enthusiasm in every aspect of her role. Her contributions were invaluable, and she consistently went above and beyond in supporting our school community.
Madelyne’s responsibilities included managing lunch duty, where she showed excellent organizational skills and a calm, positive demeanor when overseeing large groups of students. She effectively managed the lunchroom environment, ensuring that students were well cared for, safe, and engaged in the process. Her friendly and approachable nature made her a trusted figure among the students, and she built strong, supportive relationships with them.
In addition to her work during lunch hours, Madelyne provided essential support for our High 5's math instruction. She worked closely with our teachers and students, assisting with lesson plans, supporting individual students, and reinforcing key concepts. Her ability to connect with students and explain material in a clear and patient manner helped enhance their understanding and confidence in math.

Madelyne also played a vital role in helping to decorate for school functions, creating vibrant, creative displays that contributed to the positive and welcoming atmosphere at PS 102. She approached every task with enthusiasm and took great pride in her work, no matter how big or small the assignment was.
One of the qualities that stood out most about Madelyne was her flexibility. Whether she was supporting the classroom, assisting with school events, or stepping in wherever needed, she was always ready to help in any capacity. She worked collaboratively with staff, always demonstrating a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.

I had the pleasure of working with Madelyne in Ps102 for two years. Madelyne works really hard to have each and every student engaged and to earn their trust. She works closely with new comers and their families to help them get settled and assisted them with navigating of the system and every app we as a school were using. She is very dedicated to her students.
