About Taya
My interest in Spanish began through fascination with global communication, literature, and cultural diversity during my academic studies. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages followed by a Master’s Degree in Hispanic Language Studies. Over the past 7 years, I have worked with students from different educational and cultural backgrounds while helping them build stronger communication skills through supportive teaching methods.
I believe language learning should feel interactive, practical, and enjoyable for every learner regardless of previous experience. My teaching style focuses on conversation practice, structured explanation, and relatable examples that help students understand Spanish naturally without relying entirely on memorization. I encourage learners to participate actively because confidence develops best through communication, repetition, and supportive interaction.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading Spanish literature, exploring Latin American cinema, and learning about traditions across Spanish-speaking cultures. Staying connected to the language creatively helps me bring fresh discussions and cultural insight into lessons regularly. Teaching Spanish is rewarding because I enjoy watching students become more confident communicators over time. My goal is always to support learners in building fluency while developing appreciation for language, culture, and meaningful expression.

My Spanish lessons focus on helping students communicate comfortably through practical conversation, structured grammar learning, and interactive language activities. I teach pronunciation, sentence formation, listening comprehension, vocabulary development, and everyday communication in a supportive environment where learners can improve steadily without feeling overwhelmed. Students are encouraged to speak regularly during lessons because active communication builds fluency and confidence naturally. Every session creates a positive and engaging learning experience.
Lessons are personalized according to the learner’s level, pace, and language goals. Beginners focus on greetings, pronunciation, basic grammar, and simple daily conversations, while advanced learners work on listening accuracy, detailed writing, fluent speaking, and complex sentence structures. I include storytelling exercises, roleplay situations, pronunciation practice, and guided discussions regularly because participation helps students retain language more effectively. Students receive constructive feedback that supports improvement without creating pressure or fear of mistakes.
I aim to create a warm atmosphere where students feel excited to explore Spanish language and culture confidently. Many learners begin with hesitation while speaking, so I focus on encouraging fluency through patience and supportive correction. Over time, students improve pronunciation, understanding, and conversational ability naturally. Spanish becomes much more enjoyable when learners realize they can express themselves clearly and comfortably in real situations and meaningful conversations.
