About Catherine
I studied spanish all 4 years of my high school career and after high school I married my highschool boyfriend who is from Mexico. While he didn't speak spanish to me regularly because we met at school, his mother didn't speak english so I got to practice what I learned with her and was fully immersed in the language and culture while I lived with them. I love learning about cultures that differ from mine and I encourage everyone to be open to it as well, I believe being open and curious can help the world come together in love and peace.

I believe that learning is much more efficient when it is tailored to your specific lifestyle and interests. A typical lesson would look like you sharing what kinds of activities you take part in on a daily basis and starting your learning process there. When learning a second (or third, or fourth!) language it sticks much faster when you are able to use it daily and what better way to implement it than by talking about yourself and your life. We will begin with a subject and start first in english then translate to spanish and all the while learning the grammar tools along the way. You'll be having conversations in spanish before you know it!
