About Rachael
I have been taking Spanish-language courses since I was three years old. At 13, I was placed in honors classes and received a 3/5 on the 2020 Spanish Language & Culture AP Exam. I am continuing my Spanish studies in college, as I am undecided in my major, but passionate about linguistics and interested in education.
I have been tutoring Spanish for three years and all of my students have improved remarkably in their conversational skills, comprehension, test scores, and overall grades.

I have been passionate about learning languages for years now. However, I realize that everyone's brain works differently, and for many people, learning a language can be difficult or tedious. That is why I encourage my students to consume Hispanic media, whether that be movies, TV, or music! Learning a language should be fun, and I take great joy in helping a student immerse themselves in new, diverse cultures through the Spanish language.
I also realize that every student is at a different level in their Spanish-speaking journey, which is why I personalize lessons to suit a students academic needs, coursework, thought process, and overall understanding.
