About Jalisa
I’m a Massachusetts-certified Special Education Teacher with 12 years of teaching experience supporting students in grades 1–4. Over the years, I’ve worked closely with learners of diverse abilities, helping them grow in reading, writing, and math while building the confidence and strategies they need to succeed. I’m deeply familiar with grade-level curriculum and specialize in developing individualized instruction that meets each child where they are. In addition to academic skills, I also support students in strengthening their executive functioning skills—including organization, attention, planning, and time management—to promote greater independence and success in school and beyond.
