About Mithush

Over the past six years of teaching privately, I've had the privilege of helping countless students build their confidence and achieve their academic goals in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. My teaching philosophy is rooted in how I learn myself: I believe true mastery requires a deep, fundamental understanding of core concepts. I specialize in breaking down these subjects so they feel accessible and intuitive. I am a very easy-going and approachable tutor, and I work well with students of all backgrounds, abilities, and learning styles.

About the lesson

Every student learns differently, so my 1-hour lessons are fluid and completely tailored to your learning style. If we are tackling new content, we might take a conversational, theory-building approach using custom notes to ensure you deeply understand the core concepts. If you have an exam approaching, we can instantly switch to an assessment-focused style, running through exam-style questions and mastering technique.

Because of my extensive work with SEN students, I also offer a highly supportive, step-by-step teaching style for those who benefit from a more relaxed, sensory-friendly pace. Whether we are focusing on daily homework support, targeted revision, or confidence-building, I will adapt my methods to make the subject accessible and engaging for you.

I recommend Mithush extremely highly as a maths tutor, thanks to his support, patience, and excellent teaching, I achieved my target Maths grade of a 5, which allowed me to progress into my dream role after GCSEs. When I first started working with him, my predicted Maths grade was a U, making the improvement to a Grade 5 even more remarkable. He’s incredibly relatable, which made every session comfortable and enjoyable, Mithush creates a friendly atmosphere where you feel confident to ask questions and learn. A fantastic tutor who makes his students’ success, his success also!

He is always prepared for his lessons and provides all the necessary resources to learn a topic and understand it deeply. He has in-depth knowledge about how the exam content is structured and it almost feels like a cheat code seeing how easy it is to revise.
