About Lyra
Have you ever wondered how to approach the complex rhythms of Bartok or Prokofiev with total clarity? After 13 years of performing and teaching, I have cultivated a patient approach to music from my BMus at the Curtis Institute of Music. My work helps students tackle jazz improvisation, memorization, and hand independence with ease.
I guide beginners and college prep candidates through the same rigorous standards. My method works.

Stiff wrists and tangled fingers often betray a lack of fundamental coordination. Imagine the notes flowing like water across the keys without a single hitch.
I provide a short recorded playback of each session so students can review at home. These clips help bridge the gap between our lesson and your individual practice. I draw on my conservatory background to ensure technical accuracy. This is how we progress.
