About Ron
I majored in Computer Science specializing in database design. I use SQL and PL/SQL extensively in my day-to-day solving practical business problems across multiple business departments. My tutoring journey started with me teaching junior developers at my job at Sony Pictures. During the pandemic, I decided to tutor students as well as IT professionals who were new to SQL. I now have 3+ years tutoring experience teaching over 100 students across 600 sessions. High majority of students claim they learned more from our sessions than in their own class. I teach not only SQL syntax but more importantly, how to take a business requirement or school problem and break it down into smaller problems so you can easily translate to SQL.
I can also teach you how to break down business requirements and translate that to a database design in 3rd Normal Form.

Perfect! Ron is an experience and great teacher. This is my first time learning SQL but he explains it in a manner that I can understand and gives me tips that will make sure that I am entering queries in the correct way. He is a great teacher with great demeanor! He is also very punctual , communicative, and encouraging.
