About Junia
I’m a guitar tutor with over 5 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Guitar Performance. I design lessons to fit each student’s goals, from beginners exploring the guitar to advanced players pursuing blues mastery. My focus is on slide guitar, open tunings, and fingerpicking techniques. I’ve taught students across multiple regional blues traditions, including Delta, Chicago, and Piedmont. Lessons combine technical skill, musicality, and expressive playing, all in a supportive and motivating environment. I break down complex techniques into accessible steps while keeping the lessons fun and engaging. You’ll learn to play authentically, capturing the emotion and feel that define blues music.
