About Mischa
Hi there! I’m a recent graduate from a STEM-focused high school with a strong passion for math and science. Throughout high school, I was deeply engaged in these subjects, joining the robotics team and competing across the country. I was a highly motivated student who spent a lot of time refining my study strategies. I’d love to help you build those same habits and confidence so you can reach your goals too.
Alongside my academics, I balanced athletics including cross country and competitive figure skating. I am now a certified figure skating coach, which has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create structured yet encouraging learning environments. I bring that same patience, discipline, and positive energy into my tutoring sessions.

I’ve tutored several students in my own school as well as Grade 9 and 10 students, helping them strengthen their understanding and build confidence. My approach focuses on building a solid foundation first. In a typical one-hour lesson, we begin by reviewing what was covered in class and identifying any areas of confusion. I then reteach or explain concepts in a way that makes sense to the student, using examples and step-by-step breakdowns. From there, we move into guided practice and assigned homework questions, finishing with clear next steps so students know exactly what to work on. Lessons can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the student’s needs. I offer tutoring for students in Grades 1 to 10 in math and science, and my goal is always to help students feel capable, prepared, and confident.
