About Giuliano

Hi! I’m a multi-instrumentalist (flute, guitar, bass, piano, saxophone and EWI), composer and producer from Rosario, Argentina. I studied at the Municipal School of Music “Juan Bautista Massa” and trained in jazz with local jazz musicians, including Pipo Piantino. I learned by playing: with many teachers, in many genres and in collective composition settings. I have performed on stages in Rosario and Buenos Aires with many jazz formations, two reggae bands and a funk, soul and pop-rock band, and I toured Mexico with a duo combining DJ sets and live instruments. I’ve also recorded flute and EWI for other artists’ compositions, released my own lo-fi album, and I’m about to release an EP of Afro-Latin folk music. Over 10 years of teaching have shown me that everyone has their own voice, and my goal is to help you find it.

My approach
Every lesson is tailored to each student’s needs and pace. I help musicians who play from sheet music break free from the score and discover their own voice. I teach improvisation as a language, not as a set of rules. Starting from the language and theory of jazz, we embrace all genres. My lessons are built around play, listening and creativity. Theory is never an end in itself: it becomes a tool to explore, take risks and say something of your own. I also bring a spiritual perspective to music, understanding it as a way of listening inwardly and expressing who we are.
