About Billie
Hi, I'm Billie, a young adult who has a passion for literacy and creative writing.
Ever since I was young I've had my head in books - I was the top student in school in creative writing and I even took a few papers at University alongside a degree.
I'm a very visual, creative thinker, which shapes how I teach and explain ideas. I want to tutor because writing has always been a space where I feel confident and expressive, and I enjoy helping students find that same confidence.
My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s learning style so they can grow into clear, capable writers.

As a tutor, I focus on unlocking creativity and helping students find their own voice. I treat writing as a craft and a form of self-expression — something personal, imaginative, and fun.
My lessons often involve creative exercises, visual prompts, and discussion-based learning, tailored to each student’s interests. I guide them through character creation, world-building, descriptive writing, and clear storytelling structure, always with encouragement and positive reinforcement.
I specialize in working with neurodivergent students but are open to teaching all!
My goal is for students to leave each session feeling inspired, capable, and proud of what they created.
