About Salma
Hi! My name is Salma, and I’m an IB graduate currently studying medicine. Alongside my studies, I work part-time at the Lighthouse Center, where I help young children develop foundational reading and writing skills—an experience that has deepened my love for teaching and mentorship. I’ve always had a passion for language and storytelling, which led me to earn a 7 in IB English HL and become a published writer in the Youth Journal for STEM Research. I believe strong communication is powerful in every field, and I love helping students find clarity, confidence, and their own voice—whether they’re writing an essay or preparing for IB exams.

My lessons are designed to be engaging, personalized, and results-driven, with a focus on building strong analytical and writing skills essential for success in IB English. I tailor each session to the student’s unique needs—whether it's mastering literary analysis, improving essay structure, or preparing for assessments—with a supportive, step-by-step approach. A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes and includes interactive discussions, writing practice, and targeted feedback. I graduated from the IB program with a Level 7 in English Language & Literature HL and have experience teaching English to children at the Lighthouse Centre in Egypt. I work with IB students at both SL and HL levels, as well as younger learners (ages 10+) who want to strengthen their English reading and writing skills in a supportive online environment.
