About Blue
I am a math student from Chile who has lived in Peru and Mexico. My passion for history and literature led me to win the second place in the national Mexican History Olympiad during my time in Mexico and I enjoy making known lesser-known realities of the Latin American continent. Now that I live in Belgium, I notice a strong interest in Latin American culture and am excited to share my language and culture knowledge from a more genuine approach.

Hello! I am a native Spanish speaker and I teach with a strong focus on cultural immersion. My lessons include books, comics, films, songs and current topics, so that you learn Spanish in a dynamic and engaging way.
My experiences in Chile, Peru and Mexico deepened my love for Latin American culture, literature and history. Moving to Belgium and learning Dutch gave me a new perspective on language education, which only increased my enthusiasm for teaching Spanish. This migrant experience has given me valuable insights that allow me to teach Spanish to native speakers of Germanic languages. I also speak English and Dutch at C1 level.
In my lessons I strive for a relaxed and stimulating atmosphere, so that you learn Spanish with pleasure and confidence. Whether you want to improve your language skills for business purposes, travel or personal growth, my lessons are designed to meet your specific needs. My classes are specifically designed for students with a minimum B1 level, but you are welcome to make an appointment if you have specific questions or doubts that you would like to discuss.
I teach these lessons not only out of passion for the language, but also to support my university studies.

Perfect! Spreekt zowel Spaans als Nederlands
Perfect! Blue is een betrokken docente. Ze beheerst het Spaans als geen ander en spreekt ook Nederlands, wat de communicatie erg prettig maakt. Mijn Spaans gaat flink vooruit en het is leuk om samen te leren. Ze deelt ook graag kennis vanuit haar Zuid-Amerikaanse achtergrond

Blue heeft me uitstekend geholpen om mijn Spaans te perfectioneren, zodat ik vol vertrouwen bij een bedrijf kon gaan werken. De lessen waren altijd grondig en fijn om te volgen.
Ik raad lessen bij Blue absoluut aan! Ik begon zonder enige kennis, maar heb binnen enkele weken ontzettend veel geleerd
Blue is een heel lieve en fijne prof! Als leerkracht Frans in opleiding kan ik zeggen dat ik zelf versteld stond van blue haar zelf gemaakte cursus! Deze is zeer goed en didactisch onderbouwd! Ik kan het alleen maar aanbevelen!
Ik studeer nu al meer dan 6 maanden Spaans bij Blue en in die korte periode heb ik mijn conversatie enorm verbeterd. De lessen zijn leuk, Blue is erg vriendelijk en we behandelen altijd veel inhoud. Ik heb de lessen genomen omdat ik graag op vakantie ga naar Spanje, maar ik had te weinig zelfvertrouwen om vloeiend te spreken en Blue's lessen hebben me zeker geholpen om die barrière te overwinnen. Ik denk dat het cultuurgebaseerd leren een geweldig idee is, dankzij dit heb ik me meer verbonden gevoeld met de Spaanse taal. De lessen zijn stimulerend vanwege het vele lezen en spreken. Ik ben begonnen op B2-niveau en deze manier heeft me erg geholpen. Een echte aanrader als je je conversatie en uitspraak wilt verbeteren terwijl je het gezellig hebt .
