About Stella
I was lucky enough to grow up going to a Spanish immersion elementary and middle school, which helped me develop into being bilingual-billiterate. I do not take this experience for granted and know that it has opened so many doors for me! It's because of this process that I've become so grateful for and enamored by the Spanish language. I also just came back from a semester abroad in Perú, which reinforced this passion! As a native English speaker, I believe I can use this perspective to help students make connections to Spanish. I hope to spread some excitement about such a beautiful and important language!

I started speaking Spanish in Kindergarten, and have since taken this learning process through my entire schooling as a Spanish minor at Bates College. Throughout this experience, I have developed such a fondness towards the language. I am eager to get people excited about learning Spanish or developing the skills they already have. My lessons will focus on conversational skills, which for me, is one of the most important aspects of any language. I do not discriminate based on language level or ability, so anyone is welcome.
