About Kateryna

Hi! My name is Kate, and I’m an English teacher with over 20 years of experience. I’ve been living in Canada for more than 8 years, so I use English every day in real life — not just from textbooks, but in real conversations, work, and daily situations.

I have a higher педагогical education, a diploma in translation, and an ESL certificate, and I also help students prepare for IELTS, both General and Academic.

My goal is simple — to help you feel confident speaking English. My lessons are friendly, easy to follow, and always personalized for you. I use a variety of materials, real-life examples, and interactive exercises, so you don’t just learn English — you actually start using it.

About the lesson

Teaching methodology and techniques:
I use a communicative, practical approach focused on real-life English. My lessons combine speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with a strong focus on conversation and confidence. I use interactive materials, role plays, and real situations to help students actually use the language, not just learn it.

A typical lesson plan:
Each lesson includes a warm-up conversation, introduction of new vocabulary or grammar, practice through speaking and exercises, and a final discussion to закрепить the material. I always adapt lessons to the student’s goals and level.
