My teaching method is fairly student lead. Within the first lesson, I allow the students to communicate with me areas they are struggling in and then structure following lessons around those areas. I use a variety of different tasks and activities to engage the student such as flow diagrams, mind maps, flashcards etc and am proficient in both Human and Physical Geography.
I adapt to each pupil's needs and abilities as I believe there is no one size fits all method.
I am happy to meet in a public place such as a library or cafe as well as at the student's house, or online.
I am a bubbly friendly character excited to share my knowledge with students. Please get in touch with any queries.
*due to COVID-19 I am currently home in the Scottish Borders until October I am happy to conduct any current tutoring online*
I am a student at the University of Dundee (as of October 2020). I will be studying a bachelors in Biomedical Sciences and taking Geography as an elective. I am fairly new to tutoring so currently have no students outside of family and friends but have experience working with kids/teenagers through volunteering within a befriending organisation and as part of the Borders Young Coach Academy. I hold A's in N5 and Higher Geography (I am also currently waiting on my AH result but have been predicted an A).
