About Elizabeth
I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a student during GCSEs and A-Levels and excelled at self-teaching, particularly during exam season. As I enjoyed revising and helping friends to understand the content, I found tutoring to be a fun and fitting role. As a student at university, I've learned many study skills that I believe, if applied at lower levels, could be incredibly useful and that I wish I'd known. Furthermore, I've evidenced over 4 years of successful teaching.

Calm and approachable, I approach lessons with an adaptable plan, so I can work to suit any student. I encourage finding styles of learning that suit each individual and often use repetition to act as a revision tool. I primarily aim to tutor GCSE/KS3 students. I have experience in teaching through my 4 years as a qualified cheerleading and dance teacher and have tutored friends and family for 2 years. My lessons are around 45 minutes, and I use the pomodoro technique to ensure maximum time efficiency.
