About Laila
Hello, I'm Laila. I was raised in Egypt, immersed in the beauty of the Arabic language throughout my life. I have pursued Arabic at the Higher Level in the International Baccalaureate program; so I'm well immersed in Arabic literature. I also speak Arabic with my parents and family on a regular basis, so even though im currently based in New York City, I still speak everyday. As a person, I am very punctual and trustworthy; I like things to be very organized and scheduled in advance.

I can tach any level of Arabic, from beginner to intermediate. I like to try and make my classes fun and interesting. For example, using current cultural videos for listening and phonetics, as well as recent articles and artworks for writing and comprehension. In am also very open to any suggestions, if there is something in particular you would like to work on, like a novel, a play, etc.
