My teaching method various depending on the age and subject. For the a level subjects, applied science and health social care exams, i thoroughly going through each topic with the student and teach essential notes. Then practising questions and analysing the exam papers together etc. I also use various methods such as the retrieval method to help my students learn the essential information. if there are also assignments we will cover the topic and section by breaking it down and answering the criteria question fully in detail with evidence in a flowing and logical system. Which I will teach to the students. In addition, I will mark and assess the assignments and help them to attaint the best grade possible.
In terms of children they have a more less intense approach. We will regular tests on the topics we cover during lessons. The student will need to take notes and make sure they complete homework etc. This is because practice is very important to develop language skills. however, the lesson will be enjoyable as I will include websites that will help to improve their vocabulary etc.
For adults developing oral, reading and writing skills they will also have a different approach as I will throughly go thorough what they know and don't know. Then I tend divide the topics to teach them and set tasks for them to do as practice. I will have regular tests as even if they don't have exams to pass its important to make sure they understand the knowledge and know how to write and read properly as this will help them to speak fluently and it can open many opportunities in the future for them.
I am a student who has taught individuals from the ages of 5+ in English. I have helped them excel in their studies and develop this in to their fluent second language for some. I have helped various individuals to be able to apply for jobs due to their efficient speaking, writing & reading skills.

I am currently studying at university. However, due to past experiences I have missed teaching. I really enjoyed teaching students the above subjects and therefore want to carry on while I'm studying. As shown above I have been taught applied science and health and social care myself so I know the topics well and that has been shown by the 1 individual I taught who achieved high grades. In regards of teaching English I have had more experience in teaching this subject to other individuals and have successfully help children improved by two grades and I have helped young adults who don't speak English as there first language to develop this skill.
