About Phoebe
I am a student of Physics and Philosophy at the University of Nottingham. In my most recent university examinations I received a high first class grade in both my maths and physics modules for the year. My overall grade for the year was a very high 2:1. I am able to tutor in Physics and Maths primarily, however I am also offering tutoring in Philosophy and Ethics or RS (Religious Studies).

I am keen to give hands-on, interactive teaching as I believe that this is the most engaging and rewarding method for the student. My lesson structure changes depending on the specific needs of the student, however will generally involve a review/explanation of a topic, with worked examples to put situations in context. This will be followed by questions to be completed by the student, talking through the working process and finally summarised with notes for the student to keep and a short plenary activity to reinforce key points for that session.

If you need help with physics then honestly Phoebe is the best there is. She is not only extremely intelligent she also has the patience to explain and help you grasp difficult concepts. She is extremely encouraging and will take extra measures to help you reach your full potential. Her organisation only helps her excel as a tutor and she won’t let you down. She’s brilliant, can’t recommend enough.

Please note that for tution pre-GCSE standard of knowledge (i.e. school years below Year 9/10), a discounted rate may be arranged. Travel costs are also negotiable, depending on the distance to travel. If travel costs are required; it will only ever be to cover the cost of public transport, and will never cost more than it costs to get to you. Please note that sessions must be cancelled at least 1 day before in order to avoid being charged.
